Features:
The Dyma-Dot tooling consists of a set of 6 grinding heads that fit the Magna-Trap mounting system on our EDCO Dual Head Grinder. Each tool has a pair of round diamond impregnated dots that are used to grind coatings such as epoxies, paint, thinset, mastics, etc. They will leave a nice smooth, level surface and can also be used to level off high spots or remove trowel marks from a bad pour. This tooling leaves the smoothest possible finish on your floor of any tool design.

Applications:

• Smoothing rough surfaces or trowel marks
• Light grinding of concrete
• Repairing surface damage to concrete slabs
• Removing urethane or epoxy thin-coats
• Removing thin mastics and thin-set
• Leveling high spots

For general concrete grinding or removing thicker or abrasive coating the use of our Dyma-Seg Segmented Diamond Tooling is a better choice and you will get the job done faster than the Dyma-Dot tooling.

For thicker coatings that are more brittle it's preferable to chip them off rather than grind them from the top down. This will yield better results and save considerable time. Our Magna-Blade Carbide Tooling is the best choice for this type of work. Note that for thinner coatings chipping doesn't work and you'll be best served with the Dyma-Dot tooling.
