The Vermeer SC-252A Stump Grinder is the fastest and easiest way to remove old stumps. It's 25 HP electric start Kohler Command engine provides plenty of power to get the job done fast while the hydostatic drive system and hydraulic steering makes getting it to the worksite easy. Just drive it off the ramp of the trailer and cruise on up to your stump. While these units are narrow so that they can get into tight spots, the 4 wheel design of the SC-252A minimizes tipping on sloped surfaces. The units will go through a 3' wide gate if necessary. While our basic 20 HP Stump Grinders requires the operator to manually work the cutting head across the stump, this 25 HP unit utilizes a hydraulic head swing and electronic auto-feed control. This ensures that the operator won't be beat after doing a few stumps. It also yields faster cutting rates to finish your job in less time. The flatbed trailer with drive-off ramp is included with each rental and requires a 2" trailer ball and can be pulled behind almost any vehicle.
