The Cat 303.5E2 CRT mini excavator is the ultimate in mini excavators and will take your productivity to new heights (well depths, actually). This is a long stick machine with a 10' 6" maximum digging depth and an extended reach of 17' - 5". The Cat diesel engine meets Tier IV diesel emissions and features an auto-idle system to conserve fuel when not working. Cat's exclusive High Definition Hydraulic (HDH) system provides load-sensing and flow sharing capabilities for the ultimate in precise control and digging performance. Piloted hydraulic joystick controls are combined with auxiliary functions to keep the floor area free of any foot pedals. A digital control panel allows for complete control of all electronic functions. This unit is equipped with a heated and air conditioned cab for the ultimate in operator comfort to keep you productive whatever the weather may be. The hydraulic boom pivot allows for easy parallel digging alongside foundation walls and the 70" wide backfill blade with float control makes for easy backfilling of the dig site. The unit can be easily switched between backhoe and large excavator control patterns via the electronic control panel.

This unit is also equipped with a hydraulic thumb that allows the operator to pick up bulky objects, such as logs, rocks, brush or demolition materials.

Important Towing Information:
The Cat Mini Excavator includes a flatbed trailer with hydraulic surge brakes and a pintle towing ring. This trailer requires a pintle hitch, NOT A BALL HITCH. It can be can be pulled behind a 3/4 ton pickup truck (2500 series) or better but no 1500 series 1/2 ton truck will be allowed. If you do not have a pintle hitch we do have one available for rent that fits a standard 2" square hitch receiver.
