The Bostitch Roofing Nailer is a pneumatic tool that shoots coiled galvanized roofing nails to fasten down asphalt shingles or foam sheathing. The RN45B nailer holds nail coils of various lengths, from 1" to 1-3/4" long. Each coil contains 120 nails. The unit comes with an attached air pressure regulator for convenient adjustment of fastener depth. A contact trip safety ensures that no accidental discharges can occur while at the same time an operator can simply grab the trigger and "tap" the nailer to fire a nail, similar to a hammer, for the fastest production. The air tool requires 2.5 CFM of air so it can run on almost any size air compressor.
