Our cylinder hone is used to create a cross hatch pattern in cylinder bores to aid in seating new piston rings.
Various stones are available but not included in the rental rate. Hones should be used with a slow speed drill with variable
speed control in order to create the proper 30 degree crosshatch pattern. The stones should be lubricated with a thin oil or
kerosene-oil mixture when honing.
