Our 14 Gauge Sheet Metal Shears is great for snipping off gutters, trim, automotive panels, or any other sheet steel. It's 3 jaw design cuts a center strip 7/32" wide leaving a continuous curl that stays out of the line of sight for ease in viewing the cutting line. It can cut radiuses down to 5-1/2" and the head swivels a full 360 degrees. This is a larger capacity shear and can cut 14 gauge steel rather than most 3 jaw shears which can only handle 18 gauge. Note that 3 jaw shears cannot cut across corrugated steel because they cannot climb the ridge. Shears also cannot cut a double seam on automotive body panels. The seam itself will need to be sawed.
