Our Coil Spring Compressor is a handy tool to remove coil springs from automotive suspensions. The tool is inserted
into the middle of the spring (you may have to remove the shock absorber if it's mounted in there) and the spring is compressed
via the jack screw. The spring can then safely be removed in a compressed state.
If you have MacPherson struts, where the spring is mounted to a hydraulic damper unit, this tool is not the tool to
use. This tool is designed for two piece shock and spring units. If you do have struts our
MacPherson Strut Compressor tool is the correct tool
for that job.
